Fish out Killers of Arise News Anchor immediately, Tinubu orders Security Agencies

President Bola Tinubu has expressed deep sorrow over the tragic death of Somtochukwu Maduagwu, a News Anchor with Arise Television News, who was killed during a Robbery at her Residence in Abuja.

‎This is contained in a Statement  by Spokesman of the President, Bayo Onanuga, on Tuesday in Abuja.

‎Tinubu extended heartfelt Condolences to the Maduagwu’s Family, Arise News Management, and the entire Nigerian Media Community.
‎
‎”Maduagwu was a promising Professional Journalist whose life was cut short in a cruel and condemnable manner.
‎
‎”Security and Law Enforcement Agencies should conduct a quick and thorough Investigation into the Incident and ensure that the Perpetrators are apprehended and brought to Justice without delay.”
‎
‎Tinubu assured Nigerians that his Administration remained  committed to protecting Lives and Property, and would intensify efforts to combat all forms of Crime across the Country.
‎
‎Maduagwu, 29, was killed early Monday during an Armed Robbery at her Residence in Katampe, Abuja. The Incident is currently under Investigation by the Nigeria Police.
