NTA Directorate: Tinubu withdraws new Appointments, recalls Dembos

President Bola Tinubu has ordered the recall of Salihu Dembos as Director-General of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), following recent Management Reshuffles at the Agency.

?This is contained in a Statement issued by Bayo Onanuga, Presidential Spokesperson, on Tuesday in Abuja.

?Dembos, who was appointed D-G of the TV Network by President Tinubu in October 2023, will now return to complete his Three-Year Tenure.

The President similarly directed the Recall of Ayo Adewuyi, the Executive Director of News, to complete his Three-Year Tenure, which ends in 2027.

?Adewuyi was appointed by President Tinubu in 2024.

?The Directive effectively overrides earlier Appointments of a new Director-General, Executive Director of News, Executive Director of Marketing, and Managing Director of NTA Enterprises.

?Rotimi Pedro was recently announced as NTA D-G in a Statement by Segun Imohiosen, the Director of Information at the SGF’s Office.
